Privacy policy
Last updated 1 November 2026
Rise Lifts Pty Ltd (ABN 31 699 817 797) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- When you book or contact us: your name, phone number, email, suburb, the type of home, your preferred assessment time, and any lift details you choose on our site.
- When you ask for an instant price: your name, phone number, email and postcode, and your answers about your home and the lift you want.
- When you download our guide: your first name and email, and the page you signed up on. If you tell us your situation (staying put, building, comparing quotes, or a builder), that too.
- At your Home Lift Assessment: your address, measurements and photos of where the lift will go, and notes about what you need.
- If you buy a lift: your contract and payment records, and your lift's installation and service history.
- From builders and designers: contact details and the project plans you send us.
- When you visit our website: technical information such as your device, browser, the pages you view and your approximate location, through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To contact you, book your assessment and answer your questions.
- To email you the link to our guide, then our short Notes From a Lift Installer series (about one a week for five weeks) and, after it, at most one email a month, until you unsubscribe. Every one of them has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To design, quote, install and service your lift.
- To keep your lift's service history and warranty records.
- To improve our website and measure our advertising.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We only send you marketing, like news or offers, if you've agreed to it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We only share it when we need to, with:
- the trades working on your installation, such as your builder or electrician;
- the suppliers who make your lift, with its measurements and design only, never your name or contact details;
- the providers that help us run our business, such as our website host (Netlify), which also receives our website forms, our email provider (Google), and MailerLite, which sends the link to our guide and our Notes emails;
- regulators and authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar tools. We may use Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how people use our site and to measure and improve our ads. These tools may collect information about your visit and use it to show you our ads on other websites. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors scroll, click and move through our pages so we can make the site easier to use. Clarity hides what you type into our forms. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and change your ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts. Our site also loads fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
How we look after it
We keep your information in secure systems, limit access to the people who need it, and keep it only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires. We keep service records for the life of your lift, so its service history stays complete.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Questions and complaints
Email hello@riselifts.com or call 1300 492 003. We'll respond to a complaint within 30 days. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
